Lizzy Hodges
Clinical Family Therapist
Lizzy understands that when family relationships become difficult, it can be hard to know where to start. She is a Family Therapist and EMDR clinician with extensive experience working with children, parents and families, particularly mothers.
Lizzy works with individuals, couples and families to understand the patterns and experiences that can influence relationships and family life. Her clinical work includes individual and family assessment, parent and couples work, parent-child work, and individual and family therapy.
She brings a relational and family-focused approach to her work, helping people feel heard and understood while exploring ways to create healthier patterns of communication and connection. Lizzy is particularly passionate about supporting mothers and recognises the significant impact that supporting a mother can have on the wellbeing of the whole family.
Lizzy is also trained in EMDR Therapy and incorporates trauma-informed approaches where appropriate to help clients process difficult experiences and move towards greater emotional wellbeing.
Lizzy holds a Master of Clinical Family Therapy and a Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Practice from La Trobe University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Psychology.
